🧬 Drill Bit Concept: The “Quantum Curl”
A bit so advanced it doesn’t even exist in one position at a time. Inspired by quantum theory and poor decision-making, the Quantum Curl phases in and out of visibility during use. You don’t drill with it—you observe its potential to drill. It has a 50% chance of creating a hole and 100% chance of existential dread.
⚙️ Functionality
- Drilling Style: Not traditional spinning. It rotates non-linearly by vibrating across probabilities. When used, it sometimes drills a hole. Sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes it drills a metaphor.
- Physics Mode: Only functions when unobserved. The moment you stare directly at it, it halts in protest. Works best in dim rooms with indirect glances.
- Dust Output: Instead of sawdust, it emits “Quantum Mist,” which smells faintly like ozone and unresolved expectations.
⚠️ User Warnings
- Causes minor reality blurring within 3 feet of operation
- May trigger time loops, déjà vu, and spontaneous flashbacks to moments that never happened
- Incompatible with tape measures, common sense, and most walls
💡 Ideal Use Cases
- Opening emotional rifts in drywall
- Drilling holes into furniture you’re philosophically unsure about
- DIY projects in alternate dimensions
Not ideal for home improvement—but great if you’re assembling furniture across parallel dimensions.
