Descrição

A set of snaps that allow for the reuse of multiboard parts in openGrid even when they span multiple rows or columns.
 

Two connection types are supported.
1. Small Threads (multipoints)
2. Bolt Locks
 

With these two connections Multibins and Multiboard shelves can be attached to an openGrid.
 

## Limitations

Some parts will not be compatible due to the distance between Multiboard connection points overlapping with openGrid walls.
Distances of 6 Multiboard cells inclusive (and multiples of 6) are never supported and distances of 5 (inclusive) are not compatible with bolt locks but are compatible with small threads.
 

## Premade Sets


### Multipoint
There is only one set for the multipoint connectors. 6 snaps side by side that are all spaced by 25mm.
You will have to find the small thread multipoint files yourself as the Multiboard license does not allow including them.


### Bolt Lock Connections
Find the appropriate set in the sets directory.
If there is only a single number that is a set that only deals in the x direction covering a single row. 
If there are two numbers they are horizontal span and vertical span respectively.
These include the required bolts.


### Examples
Bolt Locked Directional 2 Cells = 2 side by side Multiboard snaps
Bolt Locked Directional 2x2 Cells = 4 Multiboard snaps forming a 2x2 grid


## Custom configuration
There is an included table to help guide the selection of the correct snaps.

### Table Definitions
openGrid Span: The number of openGrid cells between snaps inclusive
Multiboard span: The corresponding number of cells that a <ultiboard would have between snaps inclusive
Offset: The number of millimeters away from center that the Multiboard snaps will be on an openGrid
Split Offset: Offset/2, the number of millimeters each snap needs to be adjusted if they are symmetrical
Locking Bolt: Whether or not locking bolts can be used at that span
Small thread: Whether or not small threads can be used at that span
 


### Guide
An example is the easiest way to show this:

I have a part that has 4 connection points forming a square with a width of 3 cells, and a height of 4 cells.
I want directional snaps at the top and bare snaps at the bottom.

1. Find my horizontal offset, looking at row 3 corresponding with multiboard span 3. This has a split offset of 3.
2. Find my vertical offset, looking at row 4 corresponding with multiboard span 4. This has a split offset of 4.5.
3. All values are positive so we will adjust towards the center.
4. Find my left upper corner; Directional snap, right 3, down 4.5 = Bolt Locking directional Snap - 3R4.5D
5. Find my right upper corner; Directional snap, left 3, down 4.5 = Bolt Locking directional Snap - 3L4.5D
6. Find my left lower corner; Directional snap, right 3, up 4.5 = Bolt Locking Snap - 3R4.5U
7. Find my left lower corner; Directional snap, left 3, up 4.5 = Bolt Locking Snap - 3L4.5U


## Caveats
For distances of 5mm please use the 4.9mm spans. These should work for most cases.

I have tested using 4.9mm split offsets for brackets that span 5 cells that should be 6mm apart with success. This is because brackets have a ton of play, but they don't snap in smoothly.


## Remixes
I used the openGrid bare and directional snaps as the base for these, and the multiboard remixing small thread for small thread negatives.
I also took the Locking T Bolt and increased it's length to accommodate for the thicker openGrid snaps.
