3D model The Jeff, a stackable plant support. by ammar.agh on MakerWorld

Description

Whether your tomato is leaning or your monstera needs a morale boost, Jeff’s got your back. Literally.

Hello everyone,

I’ve designed a stackable plant support ring, meet Jeff.

I recently bought an Alocasia Frydek and ran into a problem: the leaves were going everywhere with zero support. The petioles are long and delicate, so I couldn’t just 3D print a standard plant stake. I needed something modular and stackable.

That’s how Jeff was born: a stackable, hinged plant support system for your unruly, floppy foliage friends.

Dimensions:

The ring - 8.5 cm
The height (unstacked) - 20 cm

The height (stacked) - 40 cm

Consider some of the height will be lost when inserting into soil.

Hinges and joints:

The hinges and joints are printed in place so after removing the support carefully try to open the ring from the side of the connecting joints not from the hinges side. You will problably hear a small snap, don't worry it is just the hinge being set free. After that choose your favorite plant and give it the support it needs.

PETG recommended for outside use
PLA is fine for inside use

Total weight: 75g
Printing time: 2h30m
