Hello! Thank you for installing this gauntlet design just a few things I want to say
before you use this project.
-First please at least credit me; this was no easy feat should you use it in
public.
-Second, assembly requires aluminum rivets; if you please anything
else will work as long as it is 5mm, and capable of rotating.
-All plates after printing will need to be widened a little bit with a
screwdriver to ensure snug fit
-Third, if you modify the gauntlet STLs, I used blender, so verticies may be
unsightly so I grealy apalogize for that should you modify the STL
-Fourth, when printing with ABS, USE GLUE (Elmers gluestick is surprisingly
good), use the brim option and support isn't 100% needed, but I'd do it for
saftey
-Fiith, for the fingers, they can be sewn to a glove when attached to leather
or simply use contact cement.
-Sixth, the plates with 2 holes for the fingers attach to either a hinge (Thumb)
or the knuckle plate. Make sure the plates are not messed up in order! they are
very sepcific to the finger.
-Lastly, I highly reccomend the use of leather gloves for this, I used
landscaping work-gloves.
Anyway, here are some measurements for the full size (Large to XLarge hands),
with 5mm hole centered at each measurement point (Doesn't have to be perfect)
Enjoy the process!
