SnailGrip - A modular cable management system
Take control of your desk or workshop setup with SnailGrip, a flexible, modular cable management system designed for clean aesthetics and practical function.

The base module is designed to print in PLA or PETG for strength and stability. On top sits a custom-designed TPU holder printed with 95A TPU (highly recommended) that uses a precise Archimedean chord profile to create a snug, secure fit for cables ranging from 3 mm to 10 mm in diameter.

Unlike many cable organizers that only work for a fixed cable size,  SnailGrip securely adapts to a wide range, keeping cables tight and protected without compromise.

Once your cable is placed into the soft TPU channel, simply twist it anticlockwise to lock it into place. The unique twisting action increases grip without damaging the cable — ideal for anything from charging cords to thicker power cables.

SnailGrip blocks are designed to be compact, stackable, and highly customizable, allowing you to build your own cable routes using different block types!

File Naming Note:

Files labeled with "1D" refer to base blocks designed for single-row layouts (e.g., linear or inline routing).
Files labeled with "2D" are for multi-row or grid-style setups, such as 2×2 arrangements or L-shaped corners.

Printing Directions:

Print the TPU holder vertically, with the “Snail” facing upward to ensure the best surface quality and dimensional accuracy.
Enable tree supports (auto placement) for easy removal and minimal surface scarring.
