Gridfinity 4x3 Baseplate

When a 4x4 is just a little too big, the 4x3 baseplate comes to the rescue! This is the essential Gridfinity component for optimizing every last bit of space, especially in popular furniture like the IKEA Alex drawers. Create the perfect, gap-free layout for your tools, crafts, and components.

🖨️ Print Settings

This is a very simple print. For excellent grigidity, I recommend printing in PLA, PETG, or ABS. A 10% infill is plenty to make it strong, but it works well even with less. No supports are needed, just make sure you have a clean bed for perfect first-layer adhesion.

💡 Why did I make this model?

While organizing my attic with the Alex drawer unit, I started laying down my 4x4 Gridfinity baseplates. I quickly realized that to make a perfect, no-wiggle-room fit, I needed a different size. The 4x3 baseplate was the missing piece of the puzzle. It allowed me to completely fill the drawer space and create the ultimate, satisfyingly snug organization system I was aiming for.
