This is a simple toggle switch fidget toy, inspired by a model from Maker’s Innovations. I really liked their concept, but I had some ideas to improve it — mainly to make the design easier to open and modify. So I recreated the switch entirely in Fusion 360, replacing the original press-fit design with M3 x 10mm screws and M3 nuts, allowing you to disassemble the toy and swap out parts as needed.

What’s Included

There are three print profiles included:

• Core:
  Contains the main shell halves, a smooth switch, and a 100% thickness spring.
• Switch Variants:
  Includes two full switch designs:
  • A smooth switch
  • A ridged switch for better grip and tactile feedback
• Spring Variants:
  Includes springs in 100%, 75%, and 50% thicknesses, allowing you to adjust how soft or firm the toggle feels.

Assembly Instructions

1. Start with one half of the shell.
2. Place the spring and switch into position. It may be easier to insert the spring after the switch, as it needs to flex slightly around the base.
3. Add the second shell half on top.
4. Secure everything with four M3 x 10mm screws and four M3 nuts.
   (Tip: use a slightly longer screw to pull the nuts into place — this helps seat them flush inside the shell.)
