This is a case designed for crochet hooks! The case has multiple features ideal for your crochet projects, based on my sister's input ;)

• The height of the case is such that your hooks will stick out, making it easy to select the right hook
• A seperate compartment for paperclips and pins can be attached to the bottom, so you always have everything you need
• The case is extra thick to survive trips in stuffed bags, even if they are filled with heavy books

Print instructions

For all parts the same applies;

• Print the parts with the flat side down. 
• For the main body some tree supports are needed to support the edge at the top of the bottom thread. Other than that, no supports or brims are needed.
• For added strength you can increase the amount of wall loops. For infill patern a patern like hexagonal provides the best strength.
• Since these parts all have threads, it is beneficial to print with a layerheight of 0.1 mm for a smoother screw experience.
• If you have it, using ABS instead of PLA can be beneficial if you intend on abusing this case (like my sister), as ABS is a bit more ductile.
   

A small explanation on the different compartments
The case is designed to be modular. You can use it in different configurations. Here's what you need for every configuration:

Only crochet hook case:

If you only want to store your crochet hooks, you need;

• 1x main case
• 1x main lid
• 1x main lid bottom (This is to cover the thread at the bottom of the main case. This is purely decorative though, so you can skip this part if you want)

Crochet hook case + pin compartment:

If you also want to have the pin compartment at the bottom, you need;

• 1x main case
• 2x main lid (Once as lid to the main case, once as pin compartment)

Crochet hook case + seperate pin compartment (a.k.a. everything):

If you also want to be able to use the pin compartment as a seperate case, you need;

• 1x main case
• 2x main lid (Once as lid to the main case, once as pin compartment)
• 1x main lid bottom (This is to cover the thread at the bottom of the main case. This is purely decorative though, so you can skip this part if you want)
• 1x pin lid

In this setup, you can use the pin lid to keep the pin compartment seperate. If you do want to attach the pin compartment to the main case, you can screw the pin lid and the main bottom lid together for easy storage.
