Earwig Bait Station V2

This is the second version of a design I created in Fusion 360.

The first had limited success most likely due to either bait used or too shallow of a design.

I also modified the original 360 sloped edge to a two ramp with a shallower angle access.

The goal is to trap and eliminate the explosion of earwigs this year around the house. 

Including the basement and bathrooms! Without using harmful pesticides.

Recommend bait on the internet is a combination of soy sauce on the bottom with a vegetable oil topping.

The earwigs are usually attracted to the fish oil or cooking oils.

If you have stubborn unwanted residents, then some suggest bacon grease.

Once they enter their legs are coated in the oil and can't climb out.

It is also recommended to apply a thin coat of oil on the bowl beveled area

 to promote their slide into their new habitat.

Since this is a new design I will update the post on how effective this in the near future.
