Modelo 3D Modular Headset Stand por welles no MakerWorld

Descrição

Ever wanted a simple stand for your headset, but its either too low or too high up, for your particular headset?

I faced this problem, and wanted to make a solution, that was scalable to my needs.

This build includes the following:

  • The base
  • a 100 mm rod
  • a 50 mm rod
  • a headset top part (with a soft groove to keep your headset from sliding)
  • a rounded top part (if you wanted to use this stand for a helmet or similar)

Settings:

  • PLA works just fine, but PETG , ASA or ABS will work fine too.
  • Print this in 0.20 mm with everything at default.
  • No supports required!
  • Infill should be set to at least 15% to make the threads sturdy enough.
  • Use a brim for the rods (if the bed does not stick)

Instructions:

  • Print 1 base and 1top.
  • Print 1 rod at a time and use a 10mm brim if your bed does not stick that well.
  • To make sure that the rods print perfect, they must be standing up
  • I suggest to print 1 rod at a time, to avoid any issues. But you could try with multiple at once.
  • 2 rods of 100mm should be sufficient for most headsets. But you can print as many rods you would like.
  • If the threads are too tight, simply add a bit of oil.. ( Any cooking oil will work just fine ) and work the threads a bit.

Tip:

To check, if your printer can in fact make the threads connect, simply print 2 pieces of the 50mm rods and try it out.
