Improved Node M1 LoRa Meshtastic Transceiver Case
This is a remixed and enhanced version of the popular Node M1 case originally designed by Todd on Printables. While the original design was excellent, I noticed a couple of areas for improvement that prevented it from being ideal for MakerWorld users and 3D printing in general:
- Availability: The original case wasn't available on MakerWorld.
- Screw Hole Alignment: The screw holes in the original model were not perfectly aligned/centered, and they didn't consistently register as solid walls in slicing software by default.
What's New and Improved?
I've addressed these issues and made several key improvements to ensure a smoother printing experience and a more robust final product:
- Precise Screw Holes: The screw holes have been meticulously re-engineered. They are now perfectly centered, register as solid walls throughout the entire post in your slicer, and provide optimal support for heat-set inserts. This ensures a secure and durable assembly for your Node M1.
- Enhanced Support Structures: I've optimized the integrated supports for superior build plate adhesion. By adding more material to the base of the supports, you'll experience greater stability during printing and a higher success rate with less warping.
Compatible Node Module
This case is designed specifically for the ThinkNode M1 LoRa Meshtastic Transceiver with the 1.54" EPD Screen and GPS function. You can find the module here:
Post-Processing
For best results, threaded inserts should be pressed into the designated holes using a soldering iron set to a low heat. This will create strong, reusable threads for mounting your Node M1.
Ready to Print!
Download this improved case and give your ThinkNode M1 the protective and functional housing it deserves. Enjoy your Meshtastic projects with confidence!
Post Processing:
Threaded inserts should be pressed into the case using a soldering iron set to a low heat.

The four screw holes in the sides of the front case may require additional drilling to correctly align with the threaded inserts.
