This bulkhead fitting serves to safely and tightly route something (liquid, gas, or cable) through a barrier while maintaining the barrier’s integrity, or just simply to make the hole look more polished. It comes with a lid and a TPU sealing ring if you need to keep liquid before draining it… perhaps a diy beer cooler? 😉

Note: The customizable model does not come with a profile. If you need print settings guidance, have a look at the 18mm PETG+TPU print profile to get an idea.

I used the fitting to drain water from an outside planter. I lined the wood with plastic for extended lifespan and used the fitting to let water get out without soaking the wood inside the drilled hole. I used a small amount of sealant between the fitting and the plastic and the bolt nut tightens the seal.

The preset print profiles contain 4 sizes, all 40mm long bolts:

  • This profile also includes a screw on cap and a TPU sealing ring.
