Hook Generator– Customizable Wall Hook

This is a fully customizable hook designed for both light-duty and heavy-duty mounting needs. Whether you're organizing your workshop, printing accessories for your 3D printer setup, or creating a custom gear holder, this model gives you full control over size, strength, and fit—without needing to scale or reshape the STL manually.

Use it for tool walls, cable management, general utility storage, or to “clip-in” objects with angled hooks!

What You Can Customize (No CAD Experience Needed):

• MountHeight – Sets how tall the vertical mount is. Customize depending on your surface or item height.
• HookHeight – Controls how far the hook extends outward from the mount.
• HookSize – Determines the curve or “wrap” of the hook (its arc or circumference).
• HookWidth – Total width of the hooks internal walls. Great for fitting wide or narrow objects.
• WallThickness – Increases or reduces the strength of the hook walls. Use thicker values for heavier loads.
• Chamfer – Controls the chamfer on all corners. Defined as a percentage of the hook width for easy proportioning.
• ScrewHoleSize – Customize based on your screw size. 5mm+ is recommended.
• HookAngle – Set to 90° for a typical hook, or increase slightly (e.g. 91–95°) to allow objects to "clip in" securely.
• ScrewCountLength – Number of screw holes vertically. 2 is recommended for stability.
• ScrewCountWidth – Number of screw holes horizontally. 1 is best unless making very wide hooks.
