Descrição
A bow for the item frame I designed. This item uses one of the neodymium magnets (check the bottom of the description for the link). The magnet should fit snug, so no super glue is required to hold it in place. Just be sure to insert the magnet in the right direction so it attaches to the item frame correctly!
OPTIONAL: Since the bow did not have a very good place to add magnets, the bow itself only has one magnet hole. Due to this, I have added a second plate that allows you to add two additional magnets if the one magnet is too loose and causes the bow to droop. The second plate has a pause to allow you to add the magnets when needed. The bow item has two notches embedded where you insert the additional magnet holders from plate 2. When adding these magnet holders, make sure that you line up the small arrows against the rounded corners of the bow string and that the notches go where they are supposed to. I have included two pictures for better clarity (images 4 and 5). Depending on your printers tolerances, you may need to add a small amount of super glue on the sides of the magnet holders so it stays attached to the bow. It is also important that you use the same filament as the item frame background, so that it blends in as intended.
This model is support free and does not require the AMS. If you are not using the AMS, just be sure to add color switch pauses at the same layers as in the print profile.
The four different filaments I used in sequence are:
FlashForge Volcanic Rock Gray PLA-CF
Inland Light Gray Tough PLA
CCTREE Dark Brown PLA
Overture Sedimentary Rock PLA
For the two magnet holders, I used:
AMOLEN Marble Brick Red PLA
The link for the magnets is included in the item frame model on my page:
