This is the legendary SPACEBOX MK1 you where looking for. Scalable, Stackable, Unbelivable!

Everyone knows the situation: you start 4 projects at the same time, and you start printing the parts or buying everything you need. Then the project blocks your desk, and at some point you no longer know what it was all for. That's over now!

The SPACEBOX MK1 does not end your projects but gives you the opportunity to park them on the shelf in a cool design. Put the lid on and stack them.

The SPACEBOX MK1 is completely printable without supports and freely scalable for any printer. The file is drawn as a block so that the box is only created by the settings in the slicer. No matter how big or small, the wall thickness remains the same! How great is that?

Please note that the uneven scaling of x, y, and z can change the overhangs, and the model may no longer be printable. I strongly recommend scaling the box and lid evenly.

I have prepared 2 print profiles. the large box with approx. 220x200x100 and an A1 mini version with a length of approx. 170 mm. Both profiles contain the lid, which is to be printed with the same settings as the box.

 

Settings:

As mentioned, the file is a full block, so the following settings are important:

• Top layers: None!
• Infill: None!
• Bottom layers: The layers define the thickness of the bottom: I recommend 8 layers at 0.2mm layer height.
• Walls: The more walls, the more stable the box. I recommend 5 walls with a 0.4mm nozzle.
