I think I have created the best 3D-printed DeWALT battery adapter….maybe even better than a lot of store-bought ones. I was going to sell the adapter as a product, but didn't want to get sued when someone burned themselves. So instead, this model is being given away in good faith for free on Makerworld. You are not allowed to sell this 3D model or the printed adapter.
For this adapter you need to create your own copper terminals with a 3D-printed Press&Die. Even though it's more work, I believe it's MUCH better than using the flat wire terminals almost all 3D-printed adapters use. The copper terminal model, along with instructions, are available HERE on Makerworld. You will need two copper terminals (A Left and Right) for this battery adapter.
Supplies Needed:
- 0.5mm Copper sheets for terminals. I bought THIS
- Metal Sheers for cutting copper. I bought THIS
- 12AWG Stranded Wire. I bought THIS
- Ring Terminals for Wire. I bought THIS
- Two M3x4 Screws. I bought THIS
- One M3x12 Flathead Screws. I bought THIS
- M3x4 Heated Inserts. I bought THIS
