You can adjust the length, width, height, and corner radius—plus choose whether to include a drain hole, which is great for outdoor or planter boxes.

Why I Made This?

Boxes are the most common thing I 3D print—and I’m sure that’s true for many of you, too. But I couldn’t find a simple, modern-looking box generator.

So, I created this one using OpenSCAD and uploaded it to MakerWorld, where the Customizer lets you enter any dimensions you need.

Open Source and Simple by Design

This model is open source and released into the public domain. My hope is that more creators make simple, flexible box generators like this one.

I’ve kept the features minimal on purpose—just the essentials—so it’s easy to use and not overwhelming. The rounded corners also give it a cleaner, more modern look compared to many others I’ve found.

Honestly, it would be great if slicers added something like this built-in, given how useful and widely used it is.

Update: I've added an option to add a Lid. When you save the model to your computer, it will save both the lid and box as one object, so in the slicer you'll need to right-click the model, select “split” and “to objects” to make the box and lid their own objects.
