Adjustable Photo Background Holder – 3D Printable Studio Kit

This modular background paper holder is designed for clean and professional tabletop photography. It’s perfect for creators, makers, and small business owners shooting small products for their e-commerce shops.

The system is divided into 3 printable plates:

Plate 1 (Essential Kit)
Includes the core structure: adjustable-height arms and table clamps that fit tables up to 2.9 cm thick. Requires just 65 grams of filament for a quick print.

Plate 2 (Optional Clamp)
A printable clamp to secure the top edge of your background sheet to the table. Optional—you can skip it or use tape instead.

Plate 3 (Optional Vertical Support)
An alternative to using a metal ruler or rod you might already have at home. If not, this vertical support can be printed.

I personally use A3-sized sheets with a weight of 300 g/m² in various color palettes that I ordered from a local print shop, but you can also use fabric, vinyl, or any paper you have at home.

Background sheets are held with printable clips or everyday items like binder clips or clothespins.

Compact, adjustable, and versatile, this setup helps create clean, professional backdrops for product photography using just a few printed parts and household items.
