This is a locking shelf support peg designed to securely hold up a cabinet shelf while preventing accidental lift-out. It’s a drop-in replacement for pegs used in many modular kitchen and wardrobe units – often found in older IKEA, Howdens, or similar cabinets.

The key feature is the angled lip and vertical back support, which together provide better downward and lateral stability than typical round pegs. The back clip-style ramp adds an extra bit of spring tension to keep it tight in the mounting hole.

Great for heavier loads like glass jars or storage bins where shelf shifting is a concern.

🧪 Tested Fit

Tested in a standard 5mm shelf peg hole cabinet with 18mm MDF shelves as pictured. Snug push-fit and good strength in ABS may be ideal for longer-term durability or kitchen use.
