Leatherman Bit Storage Case

The Leatherman Bit Storage Case is a four-part print. It can be printed in either multi-colour or mono-colour (single colour). The hinge uses two M3x12 button head cap screws.

It is optional to insert four magnets into the model after printing for added latch security, but this is not required. (Check the included materials for magnet dimensions.)

The bit holders can be popped out using a knife or a metal ruler. Simply pry at the thicker ends of the bit holders, and they will pop out of the case. They can then be used independently, making the case a handy tray for storing fasteners while assembling or disassembling a project.

🔧 Assembly Tip:
To secure the bit holders in the case, slide them under the magnet mounting spots, then press down to engage the clip. This will lock them firmly in place.

The holders are designed for easy access: just push down on one end of a bit, and it will teeter out of the holder for quick retrieval.

The model was printed using Elegoo Rapid PET-G and should NOT be printed in PLA, as PLA may not provide sufficient strength or flexibility for the hinge and clip features.
