Practical 3D Printed Cooling for Summer or Workspace Use

Feeling a bit too warm? ☀️
Do you have a couple of unused PC fans at home?
Maybe even a compatible power supply with the same voltage?
If so, this is the perfect project for you!

I had this project in mind for a while, and the ongoing summer-themed contest gave me the perfect opportunity to bring it to life!

🧰 What You’ll Need

• 🌀 2x 120x120 mm 12V PC fans
• 🔌 1x power adapter with integrated switch (I used this one:

• 🧴 Glue + a bit of patience 😄
• 🔩 8x M4 screws + 8x M4 nuts

🖨️ Assembly & Features

Print all the parts, assemble them with the fans and screws, and you're good to go!

• The central section can rotate 360°, with 8 predefined locking positions, held in place by a printable screw.
• You can also set custom angles between those positions—thanks to the tight tolerances, the fans will stay firmly in place without additional locking.
• The fan can also be rotated 180° to redirect airflow or to function as a smoke or dust deflector in small workspaces.

This design is ideal for makers looking for a simple and functional project to reuse old components (If you have them!)
