I wanted a general purpose feeder that I could fill with a variety of foods and could be filled more easily. I couldn't find exactly what I wanted so I created this design. I have been using it for over 6 months and have refined the design to use the least of amount of material and deliver enough strength. It also has good protection for light rain and good drainage after a heavy rain. Once I even caught a baby squirrel sleeping in it!

I like to attach this feeder to trees above a branch. It has a flat back so it could also be used on a pole or the side of a building. You can use a variety of feeds with the feeder. It will hold around a bit over 1 cup of bird seed, corn, or sunflower seeds, or shelled peanuts. It can also be used unshelled roasted peanuts. Unshelled roasted peanuts are popular with squirrels, blue jays, crows, grackles, and other larger birds. 

This is an easy print, but I would recommend using a brim or using the Bambu Smooth Supertack Plate. It also works well with the Cryopgrip and Frostbite plates. If this feeder will be in direct sunlight, you should use PETG. I use the feeder in the shade and have had good luck with regular PLA.
