We really enjoy threading toys and wanted to share one we quickly made with others that helps encourage hands-on learning and is designed specifically for 3D printing!

One file with numbers 1-9

Each number features holes to match its value (e.g., “3” has 3 holes)

Optimized for easy and clean FDM printing (no supports required)

Recommended Print Settings:

Layer Height: We like to make ours a little thicker so we print at 3-4mm. 

Infill: 15–20%

Wall loops: 3

No supports needed

PLA recommended for safety and durability

File includes numbers facedown on one plate for smooth, easy one color printing, feel free to separate and print by object for multiple colors. 

Can be easily scaled to be smaller.
