LightGrid Modular Mini Studio
The LightGrid Modular Mini Studio is a modular tabletop photo studio designed for creators, makers, and collectors.
With a grid-based baseplate and a collection of swappable accessories, including a round wall, soft background, dome light diffuser, and precision stands, this studio transforms any tabletop into a professional photo set. All you will need to buy are 1 to 3 small Photography LED lights, like the Andoer W140RGB (or alike) that cost around $ 15,00 each, and you will need an aluminum tube, 8mm in diameter that you can cut to length. Also some screws and nuts in the size M3 are being used, but the setup works without them as well. For each lamp you will also need a ¼-20 screw to mount the 28mm Wheeladapter to the lamp.

Use affordable RGB lights like the Andoer W140RGB (Less than $15,00 each) to illuminate your subject with full color control, from vivid hues to accurate white tones. Remember that these lights are small, but compared to the objects you are going to shoot with your camera, these are real -HUGE- soft lights. That's why they will give you the same result as big studio lights in the real world.
Whether you're shooting action figures, board game miniatures, coins, or handmade crafts, LightGrid Modular Mini Studio gives you the tools to shoot like a pro, right from your desk. You can use the LightGrid Infinite Background to have a smooth background, or to use it as a tool for Greenscreen effects.

With the LightGrid Hangar Dome, you can spread light in a special way, creating stunning effect normally seen in big studios. This also works great on bottles, glasses and jewelery.

The LightGrid Coin stand is a great tool to shoot coins, medals or other small items straight from above. There is a circular background to place underneath your coin, with lots of separation between the coin and the background, giving you all the possibilities to wrap light around your coin or other object.

Easy PLA prints, with minimal supports
This whole studio can be printed with PLA, except for the LightGrip Hangar Dome, which is a separate profile and should be printed out of transparent PETG.
For the LightGrid Infinite Background (also a separate profile) you can use PLA in ANY color you like.
Photos taken with a phone camera and the LightGrid Modular Mini Studio

The Paper background seen in this Photographs can be added to the LightGrid Hangar Dome, and the LightGrid Infinite Background. Also there are special spikes for the gridded bottomplate to hold paper floors or backgrounds.

Due to the fact cooling is a problematic thing on some of the mini parts, please use my profiles, and make sure to let the parts cool down before taking them of the buildplate. The settings are modified to have less colling while printing. This is done on purpose!!!
And, make sure to clean your buildplate before you are going to print the LightGrid Modular Mini Studio, then you won't need any Bed Adhesives.

Tips and Tricks!
- When shooting a small object against a small background, use a telephoto lens on your camera, or zoom in on your phone to at least 5x zoom. This helps you to only see the background you want in the shot, instead of all things around the mini studio.
- The Modular plates are 200x200 millimeters and the 8mm holes are 20mm separated from each other. You can create your own photography tools of you like to.
- The modular base plates can be connected with a provided connector. This way you can make your studio bigger, if you like.
- You don't need much force on the screws!
- When working with an infinite background, make sure to give the background it's own light from above to prevent from having shadows.
- Lights placed close to your miniature will be soft, as they are big compared to the miniature. When using smaller lights, or placing them further away, the light gets more contrast and shows harder.
