Another coaster for my lovely wife. She is an avid reader and fondly remembers the Reading Rainbow program on PBS when we were kids. I made the print model using MakerLab's modeling tools with a JPEG image (included above).

The print includes seven colors. I recommend this print for folks who 1) have a printer that can handle 8+ colors, or 2) have only one AMS Hub and are diligent/attentive enough to change the spools for the first three layers (see instructions below). I used the following filaments in the model cover (pictured above): PLA Basic Black for the background; PLA Basic Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, and Blue for the rainbow; and PLA Basic White for the outline of the logo.

Instructions for Filament Swapping (i.e., if you only have one AMS hub):

1. Before printing, start with the following filament spools on your AMS Hub: Black, Green, Blue, Red
2. When you are on the print screen in Bambu Studio or Bambu Handy, pair Orange → Green, Yellow → Blue, and White → Red (you can leave Black alone on its own spool mount for the entire print). These are the color filaments that will be paired together for swapping in Layers 1-3.
3. Begin changing colors for each of the following color words in steps 4-6 that are bolded but not italicized (For example, on step 4, immediately after green is done on Layer 1, swap out the spool for orange; after orange is done on Layer 1, leave it on the AMS Hub for now).
4. Layer 1 will print in the following sequence: green, blue, orange, red, yellow, white, black.
5. Layer 2 will print in the following sequence: black, white, yellow, orange, red, green, blue.
6. Layer 3 will print in the following sequence: blue, black, white, yellow, orange, red, green.
7. Layer 4 and beyond: black.

[NOTE: If you want to have a different colored background (e.g., gone of the other prints in the photo came from PLA Matte Ice Blue for the background), simply swap out black with your preferred color.]
