String lights usually have small holes for threading a nail through, but they don't always work well with the slats in your roof or are a pain to unhook when you want to trade out for holiday lights. Worse, turning the corners around your space can create weird length issues. These hooks are designed to make installing (and uninstalling) string lights much easier.
I've printed using the TPU with AMS because it represents the perfect balance of rigidity and flexibility for my needs, while also providing acceptable weather resistance.
Included in this model are standard hooks for straight rubs of wire, and 90-degree corner hooks that can be installed to provide a specific pivot point for your corners. If you live in a windy location, you can install them upside down and use the bend of the TPU to “lock” that pivot point against the surface it's installed on.
