Description
This is a new version of my model for AMS Wall Mount Brackets,modified to fit an AMS HT. It has a wider wall mounting surface, wider AMS foot holds, and a gap to give clearance for air flow to the air intake on the bottom of the AMS HT.

This will securely hold the AMS on the wall, while keeping the filament path to the printer relatively short and allowing for the lid to be fully opened so spools can rest in it during desiccant changes. The bracket has a large wall-mounting surface to support the AMS HT, while protruding from the wall enough to allow for the fully open lid.

Update 12/04/2025: Added STL and Profile for printing Vibration Isolators to help minimize vibrations/noise resonating through the bracket and into the wall. (on a related note, mine is mounted on a wall shared with my bedroom :D)  These should be printed with a soft TPU or similar material. I printed with Bambu TPU 90A.

Notes:

• Filament Type/Color used to print the pictured model is Bambu PLA Metal (Iron Gray Metallic).
• Consider whether you want to print with PLA or a more temperature-resistant filament. I tested with the dryer mounted on this bracket (printed with Bambu PLA Metal filament); I ran a 12-hour 85C drying cycle, and the bracket held up to the heat radiated from the bottom of the AMS HT.
• You'll need a phillips screw driver or bit with a very long shank for the center-most screw hole
• Fasteners are Pan Head Wall Dog type fasteners… these are the specific ones that I used:

• The Two Filament Print Profile is set to use support filament for the support interface layers (ie: Support for PLA/PETG, or PETG as support interface for PLA or vice versa, etc), and uses support print settings to match. If you just use the same filament as the part is printed in, you should use the Single Filament Print Profile.

   

Assembly/Installation:

• Slide the two halves together at their dovetail joints and then use two of the Wall Dog fasteners to secure them together as shown in the photos.
• To Mount the bracket…
  • Install the center-most screw first and snug up that screw
  • Use a bullet level and tilt the bracket left/right so that it is level
  • Carefully/snugly install the bottom, then upper/outer screws

  • Finish with the top-center screw that goes into the wall at a downward angle

    *Be Careful to NOT over-tighten the fasteners… just get them snug, then add a quarter-turn or so to fully tighten to the wall*

• Final Note: If your wall is old/not flat, you may need to use shims if you want to ensure the bracket ends up perpendicular to your wall.
