🧂 IKEA Spice Jar Pull-Out Drawer – Gridfinity Style Organizer!

Tired of your spice jars playing hide and seek in your kitchen drawer? Say hello to this pull-out drawer system designed specifically for the IKEA spice jars – with a Gridfinity twist! 🙌

This design keeps your spices neat, visible, and super easy to access. It’s based on the Gridfinity modular system (for all the organization lovers out there 💙) and uses a soft-close drawer slide for that satisfying swoosh every time you close it.

🔧 What you’ll need:

• IKEA spice jars 
• A soft-close drawer rail 
• A few basic screws (they came with the rail)
• Threaded rods (M3 × 13 mm) + nuts – used to secure the front panel
• 6×3 mm magnets – the model is designed with magnet slots, but I didn’t use them in my build (yet!)

📌 Mounting Notes:
To avoid drilling directly into my wooden shelf, I screwed the drawer assembly onto a separate wooden board. This board is then secured to the shelf using strong double-sided tape — an easy and damage-free way to keep everything in place!

💡 Bonus Tip:
I designed the layout for 10 jars, using a 45mm Gridfinity base, but don’t worry if you have fewer spice jars! You can easily fill the empty spaces with any other Gridfinity bins – perfect for tea bags, garlic, bouillon cubes… or whatever your spice drawer heart desires! 🌿🧄
