The Maker Blade is a purpose build utility knife for 3D printing enthusiasts. Featuring 2 open blade lengths, a rope cutter, and a filament cutter this knife is reliable and uses standard utility razors. The blade also features a specially designed grooves to lock the blade in place and prevent the blade from sliding back in when not wanted, all without using any hardware.

To retract the blade press it down (left) towards the edge of the blade and bull back.

Assembly:

Take the inner piece and break the thumb button free

Place the inner assembly bottom first into the outer shell, pull the locking piece down to allow it to click into place

Next lift up the inner piece and slide in the utility razor balde

Finally, slide the outer slide in from the front all the way to the back. There is an extruded ramp on the outer shell which will slip into place with the slide holding it together
