Build your own coaster set with this modular system. The inserts print separately from the coaster bodies. There's a gap under the inserts that provide a kind of drip tray for any excess liquid to collect.

Instead of building profiles with complete coaster sets already assembled, I've decided to make it buffet style. Each model has its own profile so just print the pieces you want to build out your coaster set. There are two holders available, one holding 4 coasters and the other holding 5. Let me know if you need a holder for a different amount and I'll upload it as a new profile. I will probably also add more insert designs later as new profiles. I used fuzzy skin on the coaster bodies and holder. I think it gives them a nice premium texture. I used a height range modifier to change the top surface pattern to concentric on the coaster bodies for the lip that the insert sits on, and the very top surface. I found that the interior top surface looks best with monotonic line. I increased the initial layer flow rate to 1.05 on the inserts because they look best if the build surface texture is face up on the coaster. The slightly increased flow rate helps to close up any small gaps between print lines. I also used three wall perimeters on the inserts for additional strength.
