Parametric SnapLock Storage Boxes | Fully 3D Printed
Looking for a quick, reliable storage solution without the hassle or cost of aftermarket parts? Need something rugged and secure? Our SnapFit Storage Boxes are just what you need.
We designed a fully parametric, 3D printable box available in several sizes for fast and versatile storage. Originally made as transport containers, they work great for organizing and protecting your gear too.
Features
• Support-free print design so no extra supports are needed
• Splash-resistant lid with an integrated lip that keeps out most water even when submerged (Though not completely watertight as with 3D printing it slowly leaks inside though the layers)
• Reinforced ribs (7.5 by 7.5 millimeters) for extra strength
• 2.5 millimeter wall thickness to ensure durability without too much weight
• Two snap-fit latches and fully 3D printed M7 screws for secure closure, no extra hardware required

Update 2.0 | ParaMetric Customization!
With the latest MakerWorld update, you can now share your parametric models! Here’s how it works:
Internal Dimensions
- BoxWidth – Sets the internal width of your box.
- BoxDepth – Sets the internal depth of your box.
- LidHeight + BoxHeight – Determines the total internal height.
Rib Customization
- Ribs are connected in sets of 2.
- RibSpacing controls the distance between the two ribs in a set.
- RibFromCorner sets how far the rib set is from the corner. You can adjust both width and depth individually.
Export & Print
Once you’ve finished customizing your model, export it as an MF3 file. In your slicer:
- Use the cutting tool to separate the single object into three distinct print plates by cutting along the empty spaces.
- Arrange the parts across your print plates and you’re ready to print!
After a successful print, we encourage you to upload your print profile so others can use it! When uploading, please name it using the format: Witdh x Depth x Height

Parametric design opens up endless possibilities. To avoid limiting the uesr, all input values are completely open. Keep in mind that some combinations may not assemble correctly or print properly. It is the user’s responsibility to verify the MF3 file for printability and quality. Since there are limitless possible combinations, we cannot test every scenario.
