I've always wanted a U.S. mailbox ever since I was a kid. I think they look cool and are surprisingly functional. 

This is my take on the U.S. mailbox, I have been faithful to the dimensions of the original. Due to the size i does have to be printed in stages.

The main body is printed in 2 halves, the door and the fixtures on their own, the flag on it's own and lastly the plaque on the front with is optional but reads as U.S. Mail as the original mailboxes did. 

Recommend to be printed in PETG for outdoor durability

Printed this with 10% infill 20% for the bracket (door closer).

.4 nozzle

Other than a 3d printer with filament you will need:

2x M4x12mm self tapper screws 

4x M3x 20mm (or similar) self tapper screws 

CT1 adhesive (or any waterproof adhesive for between the 2 halves of the mailbox)

Please note that the majority of the fixtures are 3D printed and specifically M8 metric nut and bolts. When printed I would recommend running a M8 bolt through any of the nuts prior to using the plastic bolts themselves as although I tried to balance between a slack and an interference fit.
