Custom ITX Open Frame PC Case
I was searching for a PC case that was compact, aesthetic, and capable of showcasing components nicely. Most of the ITX cases I found were either too bulky or didn’t suit a clean, desktop-friendly setup. So I decided to design and build my own!
This case combines compactness with an open-frame design, making it ideal for small desk setups while keeping everything accessible and easy to work on. It’s perfect for displaying your build and keeping things minimal.
Designed For:
- Specifically tailored for the ASRock B650E PG-ITX motherboard, including a dedicated mount for its Wi-Fi antenna.
- Built to fit the NVIDIA Founder Editions (Dual Slot).
- Designed for ATX PSU.
Build Highlights:
- Open-frame layout to show off components.
- Small footprint – ideal for placing on your desk.
- Easy access for upgrades.
- Sliding Lid to hide cable management.
Assembly Notes:
- Most parts are glued together using Zap-A-Gap along with Zip Kicker
- GPU-Mount is fixated with three M3 screws
- It’s currently a work in progress – I plan to refine and upgrade parts over time.
Printing Notes:
- GPU-Mount is best printed with PETG or higher temperature resisting material (PLA can bend over time)
Required Parts:
- 4x Motherboard standoff screws
- 3x Threaded-M3-Heat-Inserts
- 3x M3 Screw
- 1x M4 Screw to hold the GPU in place
- 1x Keyboard key used as a power button
- 1x PCIe riser cable (40 cm)
