Moe’s Low-Poly Monopoly Add-On – Shared with Permission from Dakanzla

Welcome to my low-poly tribute to Monopoly – an open-ended 3D printable add-on set that brings new life, customization, and creative possibilities to the classic board game. This project is a remix and expansion, and it's being shared here on MakerWorld with the explicit permission of Dakanzla, the original designer. A big thank-you to Dakanzla for allowing me to share and expand on this fantastic idea!

🎯 What's This About?

This project isn’t a full version of Monopoly – it’s an upgrade kit that reimagines how we experience the game. Inspired by the modular creativity that 3D printing enables, this add-on focuses on modularity, versatility, and community expansion.

My Goals:

• Keep the heart of the original game intact.
• Make it open for creativity and adaptable to any Monopoly version.
• Encourage others to remix, customize, and expand it further.

This set uses standard sizing, includes lettered street identifiers, and connects modularly via 3x6 mm cylindrical magnets, allowing players to rearrange the board or expand it with community-made content.

🧩 Key Features:

• Open Source: All parts were designed in Tinkercad and are remix-friendly.
• Modular Streets: Streets connect magnetically and include letter markers for card matching.
• Expandable Roads: Side-paths can represent custom zones or effects.
• Swappable Corner Elements: Customize street prices or add your own gameplay mechanics.

🖨️ Print Options:

• Designed for both single material and multi-material printers.
• All Tinkercad source links and part breakdowns are included.
• Includes basic tiles, houses, hotels, card holders, and even custom characters like "Moe’s Zillas."

🛠️ Assembly Notes:

• Uses 3mm x 6mm magnets to hold street parts in place.
• Card holders match original Monopoly cards by color, letter, and number.
• Streets are glued to bases; letters can be printed in a contrasting color and glued on top.

📦 Storage & Game Boards:

• Laser-cut and 3D printed board versions are available.
• A custom storage solution is also part of the design collection.
