Why?   : Commercial attachments are too expensive. 

One size probably doesn't fit all but you can try as its a cheap print!

I developed this caliper attachment for my Toolcraft caliper because I couldn't find a simple and affordable commercial solution. It is designed to enable measurements behind a flange or in other hard-to-reach places.

I wanted to measure my bicycle rim without removing the tire. Since I have very deep rims, measuring from the inside was not possible.

As I only have one caliper, I couldn’t measure its dimensions directly and had to work from photos in my 3D software. The tool is not 100% precise but sufficient for home use :) You can lightly sand down the measuring surface. 

Its a press-fit but not too tight.

Dieses Messschieber-Anbauteil habe ich für meinen Toolcraft Messschieber entwickelt, da ich keine einfache und günstige kommerzielle Lösung hierzu gefunden habe. Es dient dazu, um hinter einem flansch oder anderen schwer erreichbaren Orten messen zu können. Ich wollte meine Fahrradfelge messen können ohne den Mantel abzunehmen. Da ich sehr tiefe Fahrradfelgen habe konnte ich nicht von innen messen.. 

Da ich nur einen Messschieber habe, konnte ich die Maße des Messschiebers nicht messen und musste anhand von Fotos in meiner 3D Software arbeiten. Das Tool ist nicht 100% genau aber reicht für Heimanwendungen :)
