LARGE PIP STRONG CASES, Different Sizes, Box

Large strong print-in-place boxes. Tall and sort of Cube shape. Unique print-in-place case design that allows for a significant increase in internal volume. These can print on the A1 mini bed size. Super easy to print, no hardware, no support, no assembly.

Features:

Vertical PIP lid design for larger internal volume.
Snap latches to secure the lid shut.
Stackable/nesting. Small cases stack with other small cases. Mediums with other mediums and so on.
No slicer support needed.
Can be scaled to be wider along the hinge axis, or all-over 20% up or down. (The case in the last 2 pictures of the slides was scaled 120% perpendicular to both hinge axes and 140% along the hinge axis. So it is larger and rectangular)

TEST TOLERANCES/CLEARANCES - Last profile in list. Very small case to test print capabilities. Too small to be useful.

Some of these are big prints, so bed adhesion is super important. You just have to be sure your plate is clean and DRY. If your plate is older than 6 uses, I would use Bambu liquid glue or turn up the bed temperature.

Print Settings & Filament:

The print profiles are all set for only 2 walls to save on filament. More walls will make it stronger.
0.2mm layer, 15% infill
Filaments: ABS, PETg reg & HF, PLA. ABS GF and PLA CF printed best for me. (Most of my prototypes were printed with Bambu ABS.)
No slicer support needed.
For Large case, it is a really good idea to use glue on your plate for this one. CF and GF filament work best.

After Printing and the case has cooled:

Latches may be tight to snap in for the first few times. You can snap them in and out several times to loosen them up.
Each of the boxes has a small bit of material connecting the lid and base during the print process. This helps to stabilize the lid, making sure the hinges print good. These breaks lose when you flip the lid closed for the first. Use a scraper, blade, or fingernail to remove them.
