This project is a replica of the iconic Zoltar machine from the movie Big, reimagined as a clever magic trick with a mechanical twist.

With a simple pull of a hidden thread, the drawer opens magically without touching the box or getting close to it. As it opens, a small card is launched upward—perfect for revealing a prediction or secret message. The trick requires no motors or electronics, relying entirely on an intelligent system of levers and magnets.

The mechanism works thanks to:

• A hidden thread (fishing line is recommended for strength and invisibility),
• A simple lever mechanism,
• Neodymium magnets (use 8 units of 10×1 mm or 4 units of 10×2 mm).

If you prefer a simpler version, the lifting mechanism can be omitted, allowing the drawer to open magically on its own. This way, no magnets are needed, and the trick still works beautifully as a minimal and elegant illusion.
