Mk1-Thin a stackable bin for 8u Gridfinity bins.

Set of 4 wide bins 4x2, 4x3, 4x4, 4x5.

These bins fits eight unit tall Gridfinity bins. The Gridfinity base allows you to insert 8u bins, stack another container on top and everything interlocks.

Additionally, the bins stack on their own. There is a small tab towards the rear which keeps them from sliding. You can put smaller than 8 unit tall Gridfinity bins inside and they will hold their place but not be locked at the top when stacked. 

Main profile includes 4 plates - 4x2, 4x3, 4x4 and 4x5.

The exterior floor uses the half size Gridfinity. I have found this is a useful feature, while keeping the same filament usage when printing. 

The front of the bin includes a handle which allows you to pick it up and incorporates a ½ space Gridifinity base on top AND knock out for insertable sign panel. See separate listing for card.

Regarding this file specifically

I painted supports where needed. I also painted brims at the corners which helps with lifting on larger prints. The walls are 1.6mm and will print solid at typical 2 wall settings.

The bin is modeled in two parts, the floor and the perimeter.   The upper the mating lip benefits from having infill and for simplicity the entire model has the same profile. If you know how and want to, you can save a small amount of filament by removing infill from the floor part of the object.

I have the 3 and 5 wide sets underway - all 8 unit tall. I have considered  12 unit tall versions but 8 fits my need for now. If there are other dimensions or heights you would like please ask (and boost).

I primarily use the reduced lip Gridfinity bins by Ostat (link below) but should work with any standard bins.
