Descrição
This one’s for all the Benchys that didn’t quite make it.
You know the ones—leaning towers, broken steering wheels, melted decks... We’ve all had our fair share. So why not give them a proper place to sit and think about their life choices?
The Benchey Time-Out Bench is a full-sized Benchy with a little bench cut directly into its side, designed to hold one or two of your misprinted Benchys (or even your perfect ones, if you're into irony). On top, there’s a sign that says:
"Sit here and think about how you printed."
Because sometimes... they really should.
It’s perfect for displaying your stringy, warped, half-finished, or just plain weird Benchys in style. A lighthearted way to celebrate your 3D printing journey—fails, progress, and all.
Features:
- Fits standard 60mm Benchys
- Prints support-free
- One-piece design
- Looks great in any filament color
Print settings - infill density 7%
- infill type Gyroid
- wall loops 2
- support NO!
Bonus: It’s also a mini calibration test!
Most of the original Benchy test features are still present, plus a few extras:
Sloped hull bottom – tests overhang performance

Cylindrical holes on the sides – check dimensional accuracy

Bridging test – under the horizontal beams at the back of the bench

Detail tests – text on the sign and across the back

Overhang/detail test – classic “CT3D.xyz” on the bottom of the hull

Adhesion test – large contact area helps you check plate cleanliness and first-layer consistency

Note: Since the model is scaled up and the features are chunkier, it’s actually harder to print in some ways. It puts your printer’s cooling, overhang handling, and fine detail ability to the test—more than a normal Benchy.
Lots of fun, plenty of challenge, and just the right amount of strange
Let your Benchys take a seat. They’ve been through a lot.
this is a remix of the benchy
