This jig set is designed to help you accurately and repeatably route recesses for flush-mounted folding table hinges. Using a router and this simple multi-part jig, you can create a clean, professional-looking hinge cutout in minutes. Detailed step-by-step instructions can be found further down this page.

The set includes:

6.5mm depth jig (for the main hinge body)
2mm depth jig (for the hinge leaf)
Spacer blocks (to help set accurate cutting height)

Instructions - How to Use

Step	Instruction	Image
1	Print all parts of the jig set.
2	Place the two small spacers on the work surface where the hinge will be installed.
3	Position the 2mm jig on top of the spacers.
4	Set the router depth so the bit just touches the work surface using the jig as a reference.
5	Remove the 2mm jig and spacers.
6	Place and clamp the 6.5mm jig at the hinge location.
7	Use your router to cut out the deeper section for the hinge body.
8	Replace with the 2mm jig, aligning it exactly in the same position.
9	Route the shallow section for the hinge leaf.
10	Remove the jig.
11	Use a chisel to square off the rounded corners from the 6.5mm cut.
12	Insert the hinge to test the fit and alignment
13	Done! Your hinge should now fit flush and clean.
