Modelo 3D Trenchy por Maximus3D no MakerWorld

Descrição

Trenchy
The Trenchy is a glorious fusion between the humble Benchy you all know and love, and the mighty Renault FT-17 tank of World War One. It's called the Trenchy due to how many World War One tanks, including the FT-17, were designed to easily cross the trenches that defined the battlefields of that war. I've spent a ton of time on this model trying to refine it to the best it can be. It's filled with small, mechanical details. Not only does it look great, but it's also functional! It serves as a fantastic benchmark just like the Benchy. It's got:

  •  A challenging upward slope at the back which will push your printers overhanging abilities to it's limits
  • The upper roof of the turret is one giant bridging test
  • The cupola at the top of the turret is ringed by a small but mighty overhang test
  • The small rivets and details that stud the hull and treads serve as great tests for your printer's ability to clearly and sharply make tiny details
  • The many flat surfaces easily show off your wall quality
  • There's a great, long, bridging test on the inside of the treads, as well as a small “floating” object test
  • The bottom of the hull has the classic “CT3D.xyz” engraving to test the quality of the first layer on the single color file, and is replaced on the 4-color file by an extension of the multicolor camo pattern that can serve the same purpose

And there's so many more details that you can use to easily gauge your printer's overall performance! And, to make matters even more convenient, the model prints in only three parts, doesn't need any supports other than a dab of manual supports on the bottom of the cannon, and snaps together easily without the need for glue! The three parts that the model prints in are the hull, and the two treads, which I've already arranged in both the STL and the 3MF. The little square protrusions sticking out of the hull will snap into the matching little square holes on the treads, attaching them. I even have a 4-color profile based on historically accurate Renault Ft-17 camo! If you have any issues with the file or the print, don't hesitate to reach out, and I'll try and fix them as soon as possible! I wish you all happy printing! :D
