This model is an extension of the HomeRacker - Core system.

It allows you to mount your HomeRacker system to a wall using flathead/countersink screws.

Customizable

Use the CUSTOMIZE button to modify the wallmount to your needs. You can choose between 2 basic screw types:

• Flathead (recommended in combination with washers)
• Countersink

On the picture you can see an universal flathead screw (4x30mm) and a proper washer for it.

Mix and match

Fully compatible with to mount any HomeRacker support ≥2 units to a wall. You can mount your HomeRacker Shelves or HomeRacker Server Racks directly onto any wall (use of proper wall anchors depending on wall type recommended).

With HomeRacker, you can build all sorts of things—like the Dry Filament Shelf, a 10" Cyberpunk-style rack which you can also find on Makerworld. Check it out!

If you build a proper frame on the wall you can easily attach/detach server racks like the one above.

Assembly

Assembly is easy: The wallmounts act similar as connectors do. Just pull them over a support and lock them in place with the pins. Here's how this can look like with the specific print profile example:

What's in the Box??

The included print profile contains only the exact model shown in the print profile pictures. It's meant to be used with the Deluxe Edition of the 10" Server Rack. That contains:

• 4 Wallmounts (you can choose between Flathead or Countersunk with around 4.5mm diameter)
• A wall frame consisting of
  • 2 x17 supports in width
  • 2 x14 supports in height
  • 4 x5 supports as stand-off interface for the server rack
  • 4 3D3W (3D 3-way) connectors to connect
  • 4 of the (new) 3D3W diagonal supports. They act as stabilizers for the stand-off supports.

Small Disclaimer: The Rack itself got modified for this to work. The 3D4W connectors in the back have been replaced with 3D5W connectors to be able to attach to the wall frame. Get them from the Core Model please!

Let me emphasize one thing:

The attached print profiles are only examples!

Their only purpose is to give you a SMALL glimpse of what's possible.

I designed HomeRacker in a way, that you can build basically ANY racking monstrosity you fancy.

So: Be creative :-)

What's missing?

The rack frame itself is not included in this model (only selected parts).
To build a complete personalized setup or get additional connectors and (diagonal) supports of any variation, download the free HomeRacker - Core system.

Many of you have already shared great ideas with me — thank you! Unfortunately, my time is very limited. That's why I created the open specification (see the Technical Specs), so anyone can create extensions and models for HomeRacker without license restrictions. If you have an idea and the ability to design CAD models or code some SCAD, please go ahead — I'd be happy to link your creations in the community catalog!
