This is an MTG Commander Deck Box in the style of Spongebob's house, which will fit a Dragon Shield single-sleeved 100 card Commander Deck. This is another model that is a part of my series of Spongebob-themed Deck Boxes, mostly stemming from the Spongebob Secret Lair collab that WotC made. This Deck Box is made up of a few parts: the Base, Top, Door, Pipe, and Window/Window Glass. I split it into parts in order to have a multi-color effect while saving on filament. The Top and Bottom screw together, while the Door, Pipe, and 2 Windows are glued into place. The Deck sits inside of the Base and the Top screws onto it, closing shut. There is still some multi-color aspect to this, which is the leaves on the Top part. An AMS is recommended but you do not need one to print this model. If you do not have an AMS, you can either print the Top part as a single color and paint the rest or insert a color change on the Top and then manually load a different color.

In total, this model uses about 380g of filament, but without color switches it may be like 20g less. I have all the parts and recommended settings in the print profile. The Bottom, Top, and Pipe parts require supports, and I have painted them in the print profile. The bottom part has small bits of supports on the little “thorn” notches, and they will need to be either cut off or picked off. I have also set the plates to be print-by-object, in order to save on time and color switches. The leaves are painted green in the print profile, so no extra steps are needed to get the green top. I used 3 wall loops, which is what I recommend. The leaves on the Top part are kind of thin, so if this is thrown in some bag for storage or dropped, they may break. I used normal PLA Basic for the box, but I used PETG Translucent to get a sort-of clear look for the Window Glass. If you are not going to use PETG Translucent, then you will need to make sure that you use the correct PLA settings for that, or they may come out bad.

Someone messaged me saying they could not slice this on an A1, and it was because of one of the objects being too tall to print by object. I have changed that for both profiles, so they should be printable on an A1.

Someone asked for a version that fits a double sleeved deck, and now such a version exists! I had to scale the original model up, then make the inside wider, and now it can fit a 100 card double sleeved Commander Deck. This version has separate print profiles marked for each one, so make sure you select the correct one. The parts are not compatible between single-sleeve and double-sleeve versions.

For this model, I used Bambu PLA Basic Orange, Silver, and Green, then Bambu PETG Translucent Teal for the windows. I'm sure that any normal filament will work good. Overall, I think that this model came out well, and I am glad to finally have it done. I am almost done working on a Krusty Krab Deck Box, then I will go back to non-Spongebob themed boxes.
