Modelo 3D Crossbow Bolt 7.5" por TrD Office no MakerWorld

Descrição

%100 Working; %100 3D Printed Crossbow Bolt.

OD:7.4mm / Length: 215mm = 7.5"

Cheap and really working method for target training. Spent lots of time and filament for tests. Please consider boost if you like.

The v2 offers you more rigid shaft in one piece with "LAYER PAUSE" method. Use foam targets for training. Your 3D Printed Arrow will last looonger.

I used PLA-CF for the shafts. Minimum PLA+ is recommended for shafts with 9 walls. PETG is not recommended because the super glue will not work on PETG.

I used ordinary PLA for the wings. Print the wings with 4 walls.

Gluing is important for shaft strength. Use gel glue that will help you much while putting glue on your build plate.

Sprey adhesive activator in advance on your wings. (not to the shafts)

Put small glue drops inside the groove only. As you insert the wing the glue will spread to all surfaces. If you put more than enough glue it may leak from the shaft and ruin your build plate.

The technical printing details are given below;

Then print the shafts; print will pause at layer 21 for placing the printed wings.

Use sprey adhesive activator only to the wings in advance.

The printing will continue over the wings for better bonding.

After printing completed; make the arrow tips by using a pencil sharpener.

An office type pencil sharpener can be used for easy operation.

Your arrow is ready for shooting now with perfect balancing.
