Descrição
Self-Watering Stackable Vertical Garden planter system. Great for flowers, herbs, strawberries, and other small plants. The central water reservoir is removable to allow for more compact storage. The base has a mesh to allow for aeration and drainage. Two different sizes available. The smaller size exactly fits on the A1 mini.
Updates
2026-03-18 - New version 2 with about 45% more soil volume. The trade off is it doesn't nest quite as well for storage. The stacking is compatible with the original so you can mix between the two designs if you choose.

Printing
IMPORTANT: It's important to use the project files I've published for this model. I have custom modifier pieces that generate the aeration holes.
When you open the 3mf file in the slicer you'll see something like this:

Assembly and Usage
The water reservoir is optional. If you don't want to use it you can use the small cap to plug the hole in the middle of the stacking planter.

When using the reservoir, make sure to install the small cap in the central column. This ensures the reservoir fills before draining down the center into the next layer.

Simply place the reservoir into the center and twist to secure it (see video)

- Use the line near the rim and the top of the water reservoir as a guide for how high to fill the soil. When stacked, the planter should rest on the reservoir and grip the rim providing stability and support for the layer above. If you fill soil above this level it can make the layers above unstable.
- Self Watering Wick
- This is designed to support a soil wick. Simply fill the outer ring of the reservoir with potting mix, peat moss, or coconut coir - something that is absorbent and will help wick water up into the rest of the pot.
- You can alternatively fold a piece of felt or cut lengths of yarn draped around the edge to wick up water.
Water the top reservoir. As each layer fills the water overflows down the center into the next reservoir. When water comes out the bottom all of the reservoirs have been filled.

For storage, remove the reservoir and stack.
