Soil Block Maker

A simple Soil Block Maker designed for creating your own seedling pots. This hard-plastic tool comes with a spring and a press button, making it easy to form seed-starting blocks.

How to Use:

Mix 4 parts potting soil with 1 part sand. Combine thoroughly and add water until the mixture is very wet, but firm enough to hold its shape when squeezed.

1. Fill the Soil Block Maker with the mixture.
2. Turn it upside down and firmly press the button.
3. The goal is to create a block that is sturdy enough to hold its shape without falling apart but still airy enough for healthy seed germination.
4. Don’t press too hard or too softly — find the right balance.
5. Once pressed, pop the pots out. Each block has a small hole in the center where you can place your seeds.

Important Note:

This tool is not suitable for plants with strong root systems, such as beans, corn, sunflowers, pumpkins, or artichokes, as their roots tend to grow through the soil block too quickly.
