Modelo 3D Stackable Organizer Boxes por IanCantDraw no MakerWorld

Descrição

Updated February 2024: added multiple new sizes, added more pictures, and changed the name.

Basic stackable boxes in multiple sizes.

A box can stack on top of another identical box, and also multiple can stack side-by-side on top of larger sizes.

An analogy might be that well-known brand of toy building blocks that snap together; for example, two of the 50x50mm boxes will sit on top of a 50x100mm box, and four 50x200mm can stack on top of a 200x200mm.

Styles

There are two styles - solid and with holes. They are identical in dimensions and can stack with each other.

The ‘holey’ version uses 25-35% less filament than the solid version, but actually takes almost 2x as long to print (even with identical print settings).

Sizes

All are 50mm (~2 in) tall.

  • 50 x 50 mm
  • 50 x 100 mm
  • 50 x 200 mm
  • 100 x 100 mm
  • 100 x 200 mm
  • 200 x 200 mm
  • 50 x 250 mm
  • 100 x 250 mm
  • 200 x 250 mm
  • 250 x 250 mm

Lids

Lids for each size have been added. They are completely optional and aren't needed to make the boxes stack.

They can sit side-by-side with a box; for example, to fill a gap if a smaller box is on top of a larger box.

They sit fairly loosely on top, to accommodate printer tolerances. They aren't meant to seal the boxes or make them portable.

There are two varieties:

  • Flush with the edges of the boxes; these look cleaner, but can be harder to grab
  • With Tabs (pictured above); these have a small part sticking out on one side, making it easy to lift up

Print Settings

Solid boxes: 0.20mm Standard

Boxes with holes: 0.16mm Optimal (0.20mm can work, but the holes come out a little rough)

Infill: 15% Rectilinear (or the pattern of your choice)

Lids: 0.20mm Standard with 15% Rectilinear

Printer Compatibility

*The 50x200mm boxes will fit on an A1 Mini if rotated 45 degrees on the print bed (pointing corner to corner).

**The X1 and P1 printers have a small “exclusion area” in the front corner, preventing full use of the 256x256mm build area. This Bambu wiki article explains the restriction and how to get around it, although I haven't done this to test and don't really recommend it. The A1 does not appear to have this limitation, so it should be able to print the 250x250mm boxes.

Updates & Changes

Let me know if you're like to see a different size or combination, and I'll see if I can add it.

I'll also work on getting the .STEP files uploaded.

Feel free to remix, but not sell.
