Functional Roulette Keychain – 3D Printable Model

I designed and modeled this functional roulette keychain myself. In the demo images and short video, you might notice I used pink and yellow instead of red and green – that’s simply because I didn’t have those colors available at the time, so I improvised. The classic version is, of course, intended to use red and green as on a traditional roulette wheel.

This model is inspired by the European roulette layout and is actually functional! You press and hold the top part (which also serves as the keyring attachment), give it a spin, and it will land on a random number just like a real roulette wheel.

I created the design to be simple, quick, and efficient to 3D print, avoiding overly complex mechanisms or small parts that could easily get lost. The model consists of only four parts, and it’s optimized for 0.4mm nozzle printing, though a 0.2mm nozzle would also work great for added detail.

You can use it as a keychain, hang it on a backpack, or attach it to anything else you’d like – it’s up to you!

Update: 

There was a minor issue with the middlepart2.3mf where, during painting of the inner ring in multiple colors, one layer inadvertently got painted black and left a faint black outline on that segment. This has now been corrected, so there should no longer be any problems with unwanted black borders on that piece. Thanks to @Slappy. and @ZaphodJoe for their help in identifying and resolving this issue.
