Descrição
The Master Craftsman: Named after Lu Ban (鲁班), the renowned 5th century BC Chinese master craftsman, inventor, architect, and engineer often revered as the "God of Carpentry."
Inspired by Grandpa Amu: This 3D printable stool design pays homage to one of Grandpa Amu's amazing woodworking projects, known for being crafted from a single piece of wood.
3D Printed Enhancements: While respecting the original's spirit, this version leverages 3D printing to introduce features difficult or impossible with traditional woodworking. It prints as a single, integrated piece and incorporates several key modifications:
- True Print-in-Place: Designed for a single print with no assembly needed.
- Increased Height: The legs have been extended by a couple of centimeters, making this stool taller than the original wooden version.
- Dual Locking Positions: An added notch provides two distinct settings that securely lock for enhanced stability and versatility.
- Refined Edges: Beveled edges improve printability and contribute to a cleaner, more polished aesthetic.
Available Sizes:
- Full: 300mm x 150mm x 50mm
- Half: 150mm x 75mm x 25mm
- Mini: 75mm x 35mm x 12.5mm
Important Note: Carefully loosen the print-in-place hinges after printing. They require some initial patience but will operate more smoothly over time with use.
