Star Destroyer Benchy

Summary

Fear will keep them in line.  Fear of this Benchy!

For Benchy and Star Wars fans alike, this is an Imperial Star Destroyer from Star Wars with some added Benchy enhancements.  The top hull features the classic Benchy miniature, serving as a reliable hyperdrive core. The shield generators atop the bridge are also Benchy miniatures, protecting the ship's crew from dangerous enemies.

Preparation & Printing

• Tested with E-l-e-g-o-o PLA and Sunlu PLA.

Main Hull (Top & Bottom), Engines, and Stand

• Printed successfully with a 0.4mm nozzle for the main hull (top & bottom), engines, and stand using the 0.20 Standard layer setting.
• I recommend using supports.

Benchy Shield Generators

• Printed successfully with a 0.2mm nozzle.  
• I recommend using the 0.06 High Quality layer setting.
• No supports are required.

Assembly

1. Use superglue to connect the main hull together first.  
2. Glue the engines onto the back of the star destroyer.
3. Glue the two Benchy shield generators on top of the bridge, one on each side.
4. Snap together the stand, be careful not to break the central shaft.
5. Done!
